LAVERN RAUGHTON

Obituary

Mrs. Laverne Raughton, age 79 passed away at the family residence Saturday afternoon, May 14, 2022.  She was born September 11, 1942 in Pensacola, the daughter of William Edward and Elizabeth "Dollie" Shaffer.  Mrs. Raughton was a Baptist by faith.  

Among survivors are her  husband, Loyce Dallas "Slim" Raughton, her children, Elaine and Mike, Dwayne and Telesa, Jeanette and James, Deeann, Karen and Joey, Dallas and Carrie.  Ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren also  surrive.  

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in Red Bay Cemetery with Reverend Wilbur Williams  officiating.  Burial will follow in the Raughton Family Plot.
